How to convert PowerPoint to DVD with Leawo PowerPoint to DVD?

Leawo PowerPoint to DVD PRO Tutorial – How to Convert PPT to DVD

Leawo PowerPoint to DVD Pro offers an advanced ease of creating High Definition DVD as well as Standard DVD from your PPT presentation. This article tells you how to convert your PPT slideshow to Standard DVD, which also works when you set as Create High Definition DVD.

Install and Launch Leawo PowerPoint to DVD Pro
After installation, launch Leawo PowerPoint to DVD Pro and you will enter the following main interface:




1. Import files
Click Add or Import to import one PPT file or more. Up to 12 files can be added in by sequence.




Click on a presentation, and you may see the analysis result of it below (i.e. File Information). Click Customize to edit the slide property.

Play the slides automatically: Tick to enable your presentations on automatic mode. All the slides will be advanced without stop.
Transition time between slides: Specifies how long each slide is displayed (6 seconds by default).
Play the slides manually: Tick to enable your presentations on manual mode. All the slides will be advanced by DVD remote control.  


2. Set Output Options


Click Options in the menu bar to choose an output format and make advanced settings.
Then select Create Standard DVD, and you can create a DVD disc immediately.


Click Advanced Settings.The following interface is displayed:




In the interface above, you can set your PowerPoint, slide size, video layout, video quality, audio codec, DVD language code and conversion status.

3. Create DVD Menu
Click Menu to design your DVD menu. Note that the Menu tab is grey if you have selected the Convert to Video File format.




Click the Menu button in the simulator to select the main menu for preview or edition.
Click Title to preview or edit a title menu.

From the Select Menu Templates drop-down list, you can choose a template for your DVD menu. Up to 15 distinctive styles are designed for your alternation. To create a DVD menu yourself, click DVD Menu Creator to customize your main menu and title menu.




Click any tab above to edit your menu. With a rich selection of background fills and icon styles, Leawo PowerPoint to DVD enables you to set a menu with ease. After you set one, you can apply the current setting to all the rest files in the presentation.


4. Add Background Music
Click Music to add an audio file in automatic mode. You will see an interface as follows:




If you set it in manual mode, the icon   and the icon   will be enabled. Click  to add an audio file, or  to record narration. Once the narration is completed, save it. Select the audio and click   to test its effect.
If you are not satisfied with the current audio, select it and remove by clicking .
Note: You are allowed to add one audio file only. 

5. Add watermark for output video & set video layout


To make a change on your video presentation, click on the Logo tab. There are two parts: Logo and Video Layout.
Under the Logo section, click Add in the File (s) field to input an image as watermark (logo) for the output video.
In the Video Layout dropdown, resize and fill the file margin as necessary.6. Burn PPT to DVD
Before burning a DVD, please make sure you have a DVD writer installed on your computer. Otherwise, you will enter the following interface when clicking Burn.




In thisstep, you can see the Burn to disc option is NOT available. Then you should install a DVD writer to enable it. Until it works, you can see the build-in burner (i.e. Built-in) show in the Program field, and your recordable device is listed on the DVD Burner field.
You can also make an ISO file by ticking Creating DVD image file. In the ISO file drop-down list, select a location for the ISO file from your drives. In the Volume Label field, enter a label for your DVD disc.
Next, click Start to convert your presentations to DVD and burn the output to disc. On the task pane you should see Burn to disc at last. It means the program will burn the converted presentation to the disc you inserted in the DVD writer.
